Vertical orientation save space on the breadboard - this 64-TQFP adapter uses only 200 mil wide strip compared to the horizontal 64-TQFP adapter which requires 900-mil wide strip. Useful in situation when the device is available in a 64-TQFP package only, or if other packages are on longer leadtimes. The adapter with the 64-TQFP package can be plugged into two standard socket strips. This 64-TQFP adapter has 64-TQFP SMT pads to which the TQFP package is soldered. |
